Lost chocolate

Lost in Istanbul, Tokyo or Fes,  -Cusco, Varanasi or Venice -

Wandering roller-coaster hills, odd angled alleys and blind corners; bewildering traffic and frenetic flashing neon; a maze of markets, the bikes, the donkeys and dark bazaars; kaleidoscopes of carpets, cobbled streets, the sweet shops, silks and temples; the crooked canals, the low brick bridges.

But definitely lost with chocolate: the ‘Food of the Gods’, the liquid favoured by Aztec Emperors quaffing 50-cups a day, to fight fatigue and pain, a comfort to the lost and alone, and the perfect complement to the secret surprise of some sunlit courtyard.
